Ill Advised

The Revolution is coming. The ruler will not survive, but you might. As their Advisors, you have power. You'd like to hold on to it, and your heads, if possible.
Best be careful of the Inquisition, though...
Ill Advised is a one page game about preparing for the inevitable while watching your back. It uses multiple decks of playing cards to bring about the Revolution, with each play bringing the inevitable closer. Do you have enough secrets to survive when things turn nasty? And will the secrets avoid the Inquisition's attentions?
Dive in to experience a game of secrets, strategy and, possibly, betrayal. Do you fear the Inquisition, or is it your fellow Advisors you should be wary of?

Ill Advised was my final submission the 2024 One-Page RPG Jam. I'm very happy with the concept and the flavour laid atop the gameplay: if you don't want to include the flavour, the game is perfectly serviceable without. I've played this a bunch of times with friends and even those who don't play TTRPGs frequently enjoyed it, which I take as a great endorsement.
Something I discovered in playing it with different groups is that the betrayal vs cooperative playstyles vary significantly group-to-group. Where one group continually sabotaged each other, siccing the Inquisition on each other, the other collaborated to only summon them when there was no other option, trying to keep each other alive and in the running until the Revolution arrived.
