Play Your Cards Right

Playing cards are one of the most widely used gaming tools available, and surprisingly few major TTRPGs make use of them. This supplement aims to rectify that!

Contained within you'll find rules to allow quick generation of NPCs and fortune telling using a deck of cards, as well as ways to simulate two different popular card games with dice. An additional game that plays to the particular strengths of using dice is also included. There's something to suit every game!

Card games can take quite a long time to play, certainly too long to incorporate into a TTRPG session most of the time. Plus, not everyone has cards on hand. Enter, this.

I'd hit the "improvising a card game" issue a few times in sessions I was running, so wanted a solution to it. I ended up with 3, in addition to a couple of neat ways to make use of cards if and when you do have them on hand.
